Eva Alarm card in the app

Eva Alarm card gives you an overview of alarms and the settings you can customize in the Eva Smart Home app. Here, you can adjust the alarm to suit how your home is used and choose which features should be active.

Here you will find, among other things:

  • Alarm status
    Shows whether the alarm is off or activated, and any open doors or windows that may affect arming.
  • Alarm devices
    Overview of devices connected to Eva Alarm, such as sensors, door locks, and other security devices.
  • Triggered alarms
    Shows whether and where there is an ongoing alarm.
  • Arming
    Here, you can customize how the alarm should work in different modes, such as CustomNight and Away (which sensors should trigger the modes).
  • PIN code
    Choose whether a PIN code should be required to turn the alarm off and on in the app, and change the PIN code when needed.
  • Friend notifications
    Manage who (up to 5 people) should be notified if the alarm is triggered. They will receive a notification/SMS if the alarm goes off. Choose which alarms should activate notifications and the time period before the notification is sent.
  • Users and access
    View and manage who has access.
  • Notifications
    Customize notifications on all devices in the home.
  • Entryway
    Choose which entrances or devices should be linked to the entryway, and how long it should take before the alarm is triggered. 
  • Countdown time
    Set how long it should take from when the alarm is armed until it becomes active. 
     

How to open the alarm card in the app

You can access the Eva Alarm settings in two ways:

Option 1: From the Home page

  1. Go to Home in the Eva Smart Home app
  2. Tap the Eva Alarm card

Option 2: From Administration

  1. Tap Administration in the bottom-right corner of the app
  2. Select Eva Alarm under Settings
