Frient Keypad

Installation

1. Remove the screw on the bottom of the device.
2. Insert the batteries.
3. When the LED light blinks yellow, the device is searching for a network.
4. Open the Eva Smarthus app.
5. Tap "Add Device."
6. Select "Frient Keypad."
7. Follow the steps in the Eva Smart Home app.

Factory Reset

1. Open the casing by removing the screw at the bottom of the device.
2. Press and hold the button inside the device with a paperclip or similar tool for 5 seconds until the LED light blinks multiple times in a row. Then release the button.
3. The LED light will blink a long blink to indicate that the reset is complete.

Configuring Eva Alarm

- Choose which sensors should trigger in different modes:

Once you have connected the keypad in the Eva Smart Home app, it will automatically be included in the different arming modes: Home, Day, Night, and Away. What you need to do is select which devices should be included in the various arming modes.

Set a PIN code for the keypad for arming and disarming

To use a PIN code on the keypad, you must create a code for each user if you haven't already done so. 

Once you have set a PIN code for your keypad

Once this is done, you can use your keypad, where you enter your 6-digit code on the panel and choose which arming mode you want to set for your home.

Example: Enter your 6-digit code and press the padlock icon. You always enter your code first and then choose which arming mode you want to set for your home. See the image below for an overview of the different arming modes.
