Require pin code to arm and disarm the alarm

To require a PIN code that the user must use to arm and disarm the alarm, you can follow these steps:

Enable PIN Code:

  1. Open the alarm card.
  2. Scroll down to find the settings.
  3. Toggle the "Require PIN code" option to enable it (turn it green).
  4. Confirm that PIN code is now active for your home.

Please note that you need to activate "Require PIN code" for your home before you can set a PIN code for the user.


You can also follow these steps to access the "Require PIN code" setting:

  1. Tap "Administration."
  2. Select "Eva Alarm."
  3. Toggle the option downward to enable "Require PIN code."
  4. Confirm that PIN code is now active for your home.

These instructions will help you set up and enable the use of a PIN code for arming and disarming your alarm system in the Eva Smart Home app.
