What does arming and disarming mean?
Arming the alarm means turning the alarm on. When the alarm is armed, selected alarm devices can trigger the alarm in the event of incidents, such as movement or the opening of a door/window.
Disarming the alarm means turning the alarm off. When the alarm is disarmed, the burglar alarm will not be triggered by devices set up for arming.
The fire alarm and water alarm can still issue alerts regardless of whether the burglar alarm is armed or disarmed.
